Yeah, I really like the idea of a CD listening party, sounds really relaxed for those of you who don't want to be swarmed by drunkards in the Warehouse district on Cinco de Mayo. I like Camera Obscura (not 100% on St. Vincent, though. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance.)
I know it's not pertinent or anything, but I also really like the word "maudlin." Let me pull up a definition from one of my favorite Web sites -- dictionary.com -- for those of you who don't know. (For those of you who don't know, I'm ESL and thus, dictionary.com is a necessity.)

And the 8201 is for August 2, 2001 the day I came back from a long trip to Seattle. Where I discovered a ton of new music and began attending festivals and concerts. Including one by Depeche Mode a few days before.
I used it as my email address for years and when I started a blog I didn't know what to call it so I used it and here we are...
I've always been curious about the name too. Probably not as curious as people are about ours though. haha
