I'M A LOMOAMIGA!

So a few months ago, Lomography gave me a La Sardina 35mm camera, and I switched out my disposables for my life documentation purposes. This is what came of the project -- an interview and a bunch of awesome photos.

Read the interview, but for now here is a handful of my favorite lomo photos.

Again, check out the interview here!

BRAG: RACHEL ROY FRONT PAGE

During SXSW, I was asked to take part in a RACHEL Rachel Roy Austin campaign, including street style images and a mini-editorial.
Last night, I found my face on the front page of rachelroy.com!

Here I am with Whitney, Shari, Christina, Unique and Jamilah.

They also released this email newsletter where they featured us ladies and what we do.

So happy I woke up at 6:30 AM on that Friday of SX for this.

FUN FUN FUN STYLE

So I know Fun Fun Fun Fest was a whole week ago, but I am always pretty late on updates like these, even if I'm excited about them. Unfortunately the simplicity of posting links on Facebook trump the hassles of posting to a blog. I'm lazy to a fault at times.

I did, however, attend Fun Fun Fun Fest last week. It took a lot out of me, but it was a lot of FUN. I was shooting street style photos for Nylon, which you can check out here. But here are a few shots (still great style of course) you may not find there.

Sara Cummings, Hair Stylist at Propaganda
Soz, WTUL New Orleans radio
Me looking and feeling a little haggard on day three of the fest.

Now check out these well-dressed men:
Matt Draper, theholloweyed.com and Mischka
Jacob Abello, musician
Char Kim, sales associate at Urban Outfitters
Chad Allen, Switched On
Buddy Blake Brandon
Ace San Miguel, Mohawk bartender

Mrs. Tolly also was sweet and shot a photo of me for the Free People blog.

STYLE PROFILE

So, I have been having a hectic week, coming off a hectic month. Sorry for not updating more, to anybody who still might want to read this blog. Recently, Joanna of Keep Austin Stylish (a local fashion blog) asked me if I was interested in doing a little shoot and style profile. I was incredibly flattered, being the only other girl profiled so far is Nikki Cloud who is effortlessly cute and stylish, and couldn't say no.

Here are a few images from the post:

Check out the rest and read the interview on Joanna's blog.

BLEACH WAVES

Photo by Dagny Piasecki for Bleach

So, I hope you have noticed that the latest Bleach Online installation is now up. If not, check it out immediately. There are some amazing photo editorials and interviews. I interviewed local band Cowabunga Babez, photographed Ashton for her dating quiz, styled Transparent Dreams - a shoot by Andrew Chan, and styled and modeled in the Touch of Sun shoot by Shannon Soule. That's the end of my brag rant.

However, there is amazing work from friends in Austin, and it is definitely worth checking out.
