I don't know what this is exactly but it appears to be a new music venue/club that is opening up in Austin. Has anyone else heard about it? Apparently it is 4640 sq. ft. of indoor space and 10 acres of outdoor. But where is it?
I've heard about this place. The owner, Carlos, contacted me through Craigslist a while back when I was struggling to find a SXSW venue for my after party. I told him it was too far away, he told me I couldn't afford the rental cost anyway and wished me luck in finding something closer to downtown this late in the game. I did find something, on sixth street actually, and I sincerely hope he hasn't gone into too much debt with this place. Good luck Carlos.
@Shane - Thanks, I clearly did not inspect that well enough.
@DD - Yeah, I'd imagine it'd be hard to get many people out that far when there is already a LOT to do in town. Hopefully he finds some more people to host, I'm sure they should be fine if the bands they plan to book are for real.
