Another Austin is Burning hosted TICKET GIVEAWAY!
Scroll down to see how you can participate!
+I consider the music of The Donnas a sort of soundtrack to my adolescence. Growing up, who didn't want to be a rebellious, pretty girl, essentially be like a Donna? They also show up in some of our favorite girly films of the late 90s and 00s. I am excited to tell you all that The Donnas are coming to Austin to play at the Endless Beauty launch party, at Seaholm Power Plant, this Saturday. I know I would love to go, so hopefully some of you readers would similarly like to attend!
Look at all that amazing hair
+Tickets are $24 if purchased on EndlessBeauty.com and $30 at the door. I know for some of us (me) this is a little steep, which is why I am hosting a ticket giveaway so that you can have a chance to attend, free of charge.
RULES:
+To enter, all you have to do is:
1. Leave a comment telling me what your adolescent soundtrack consisted of,
2. And your first name/last initial and your e-mail address, so I can contact you!

My adolescent soundtrack includes anything by Sarah McLachlan and Alannis Morissette. I'm a little older than you. ;)

My adolescent soundtrack would be...
1. Alanis Morissette- One hand in my Pocket, or anything off of Jagged Little Pill
2. Beck- New Pollution, I remember this song coming out at the same time as Austin Powers and I was obsessed!!
3. Britney Spears- Baby One More Time, what girl in the 90s didn't love this song!
4.Cake- Short Skirt/ Long Jacket, my jam of the 7th grade, I would wait up all night for the video to come on MTV because it was just AMAZING!
5. Crystal Waters- 100% Pure Love, my mom was really into the 90s dance scene, so this was always playing around my house
6. The Cure- Friday I'm in Love
7. Hole- Malibu
8. Hootie and The Blowfish- I Only Wanna be with You
9. Ludacris- Whats Your Fantasy, I still ask myself why on earth was this my favorite song in the 6th grade and why did my parents allow me to listen to it! I can still sing every word though!!
10. Blink 182- All the Small Things, This video premiered on TRL the day before I moved to Texas, Mark Hoppus was my first love.
11. Anything Peal Jam, my older brothers and sisters were in high school when I was in elementary so they would force to listen to PJ, now I appreciate it so much more!
12. Prince- Little Red Corvette, again my mom was the BIGGEST Prince fan
13. Seal- Kiss from a Rose, Batman & Robin anyone?
14. Spice Girls- Wannabe, yes I was a tiny Bopper!
15. Third Eye Blind- Semi- Charmed Life, what kid in the 90s/00s didn't love TEB?
16. Something Corporate- I Woke Up in a Car, In middle school I was such a little skater chick all I wore was Roxy and yes I went to Warped Tour...
I could make this list go on FOREVER but I'll stop here!

Wow Britta, that is quite a comprehensive list. As in, that is an entire soundtrack in itself. I hope you make this soon so you can actually relive your adolescence. I relate a lot with many of your examples, actually.
Good answers
Megan, I was also probably a bit more musically challenged. You seemed to have skipped the tacky music phase.
