My guy friends have often voiced their lament over Austin's lack of niched men's boutiques for the Austin "type" of guy. There is New Brohemia, which is great, Stag, which is also amazing (but out of my friends' price ranges), but not too many more. Prototype has recently launched into a new business venture, Proto-man, which will serve the vintage need of Austin males. I have been through the store and there are some seriously rare vintage finds -- mostly band tees that are out of this world.
I am excited to go to the Proto-Man Launch Party at Prototype Vintage (both stores) this Friday. It should be fun times. You can RSVP on Facebook.
